RTTK Update and Build
RTTK source code is delivered via Caddie. In Caddie click on the RTTK menu and select Updates.
If a new version is available the download button will be active. Click on Download then Update.
Source Code Location
Update will replace the local copy of source code, stored in C:\Users\Coder\AppData\Roaming\RTTK\Source\src.
Under the Directories menu there is a link called RTTK Source which will open this directory.
Build Process
From the Updates tab the tree will allow you to select which IDE/Platform builds you need and will begin the batch build process.
RAD Studio needs to be closed before you start your builds
If your build fails, you can click on the logfile and it will open notepad to a log for the platform it tried to build.
To rebuild a platform, place a check in the status column.
Manual Build
To manually build the source code, you can open the projects and build in the following order, just ensure you build the runtime before the design time:
- FMXSERTTKDXE21.dproj
- FMXSERTTKDXE21DT.dproj
- VCLSERTTKDXE21.dproj
- VCLSERTTKDXE21DT.dproj
